Half-price TAFE courses in WA for 2020 and 2021
In order to meet the demand for high-growth industries, the WA State Government has halved course fees for 34 vocational qualifications.
It’s all part of the Lower Fees Local Skills initiative, which runs from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021. Further discounts apply for concession cardholders.
Annual course fees cap
In addition to reduced fees, the initiative also includes a cap on how much eligible courses will cost per calendar year.
For concession students and people aged 15–24, the annual course fee cap is $400. For non-concession students, the annual course fee cap is $1,200.
