Entry requirements

  • Applicants must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree or higher, in engineering, building, construction management, building surveying, bushfire protection, architecture or science or
  • A Diploma or higher in engineering, building, construction management, building surveying, building design, fire systems design, property management or science with two years full-time equivalent professional and/or voluntary work experience in the relevant fields in the construction industry, fire systems design (fire protection) industry, local government or state fire services or
  • A Certificate 3 or greater in public safety (fire management or operations), plumbing, electrical or other trade qualification AND at least 5 years work experience in the fire protection industry or within a State fire service
