Graduate Certificate in Economics
This graduate certificate is a preparatory program for those who did not meet the entry requirement of the Master of Economics. It provides advanced training in theoretical and applied aspects of economics in preparation for the vigorous Master program. A minimum average of 70% is required to advance to the Master of Economics. Note that the four courses completed will not count towards the Master of Economics.

Entry requirements
- Category A: A recognised bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) with a credit average (65% or higher) and a major (at least seven courses) in Economics within the bachelor degree
- OR Category B: A recognised bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) with a credit average (65% or higher) and studied intermediate level microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics as well as mathematical and statistical methods within the bachelor degree.
Study Pathways
Students who complete the Graduate Certificate in Economics with an average mark of 70% will be eligible to enrol in the Masters of Economics
