Associate of Arts in Applied Chinese Studies - Hong Kong

The Associate of Arts in Applied Chinese Studies places dual emphasis on both academic and practical skills, covering Chinese language, linguistics, classical and modern literature, history, culture and thoughts. Together they equip the students with Chinese language expertise and practical communication competence needed for further studies and careers in Hong Kong. The programme actively organises student activities such as seminars and cultural visits to widen the students horizon and boost their academic and cultural literacy outside the classroom. Working with numerous organisations, the programme provides the students internship opportunities to explore their potential and improve their employability. The experience not only enables the students to apply the academic and organisational skills they have learnt, but also familiarises them with real working environments that will benefit their career development.
