Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry)

This program aims to develop the skills necessary for specialisation in paediatric dentistry. Paediatric Dentistry is an age related specialty. This is a registrar-based program at Westmead Hospital with rotations through the Sydney Dental Hospital, the Children's Hospital, Westmead and Canterbury Hospital. Three days per week are devoted to clinical practice, one day to research and one day to the didactic component. Teaching in the undergraduate clinic is considered an integral part of the didactic component.
