Our double degree gives you the opportunity to study science before undertaking dentistry. With a deeper understanding of the scientific fundamentals that underpin dentistry, you will graduate prepared for a rewarding career. Designed for high school graduates who have achieved outstanding results, you will study a three year undergraduate science degree, followed by our four year Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Entry requirements

  • Admission to this course is on the basis of the following criteria:
  • A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents). As a guide, for 2025 entry a minimum ATAR of 99.7 or equivalent will be required to be considered for domestic applicants
  • An assessment process including a written assessment followed by a panel discussion. Eligible domestic applicants will be required to attend the assessment in person at the University
  • eligible international applicants will be required to attend the assessment online.
