If you're studying BPPE, you can apply for Honours in your major whether it's economics, philosophy, politics, or political economy. In Honours, you'll join seminar classes and work on a research thesis with guidance from one of our expert academics. Honours is for those aiming to launch a career as an academic or professional researcher. Entry requirements

Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (or equivalent) including a major in the proposed honours subject area at the University of Sydney, or equivalent studies at another institution.
IELTS of 7.0 overall and no less than 6.0 in each band.
For students wishing to complete honours in Economics, additional requirements as specified by the Honours coordinator may be required.
A Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 70 or equivalent or a higher mark in the proposed honours subject area
and meet any other requirements for honours entry set by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
