University of South Australia Rural Reconnect Relocation Scholarship

The University of South Australia Rural Reconnect Relocation Scholarships were established as part of the University of South Australia Rural Reconnect project. These scholarships, valued at $8,000 each, will assist students from rural and isolated areas to fund their relocation costs associated with moving to the city in order to pursue full-time undergraduate study.

Eligibility Requirements

Recipients must be Australian citizens or Permanent Residents, commencing full-time study in an undergraduate degree program, and have completed Year 12 within the last two and a half years. Assessment is made on the basis of financial disadvantage, academic merit, a personal written statement, and a character reference. Recipients are also required to contribute to their local community, provide a written reflection at the conclusion of their scholarship, and participate in scholarship research.
