Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Electrical and Electronic) (Pathway to Master of Engineering (Electrical Power))

Electrical engineers are needed wherever electrically powered tools, devices or systems need to be designed, manufactured or maintained. These systems include those that generate, transmit or distribute electrical energy; that acquire, process or deliver information; or, automate processes and deliver services. As an electrical engineering student, you will have access to industry standard facilities, with UniSA ranked No.1 in SA for engineering facilities¹. Facilities include the newly refurbished Power System Laboratory, Digital Electronics Laboratory, Electronics Innovation Laboratory and the Mechatronics Laboratory. By combining your undergraduate studies in electrical and electronic engineering majoring in power engineering, with a Master of Engineering (Electrical Power), you will further develop your skills with advanced topics in electrical power systems, such as the operation and control of modern power systems, renewable and distributed energy distribution, and advanced modelling of electrical machines.
