The contemporary physical and social environment is producing even greater demand for improvements in mental health and wellbeing.With significant shortages in the mental health workforce in Australia, there is a need to look at how mental health and wellbeing is supported at the community level and in the work environment.This program offers students the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of mental health and wellbeing; to provide skills to respond to mental health issues; and foster wellbeing in organisations and the community.You will undertake high quality, non-accredited training in mental health and wellbeing, gaining relevant certifications, and helping to meet community demand.

Structure
40 units.
Subjects
- Basic counselling skills, Introduction to mental health, Fostering healthy organisations, Workplace diversity and mental health, and Indigenous social and emotional wellbeing in the workplace.
Entry requirements
- An AQF 7 Bachelors Degree (or equivalent)
- or AQF 6 Associate Degree (or equivalent)
- or AQF 5 Diploma (or equivalent) + 1-year relevant organizational experience*
- or At least 3 years relevant organizational experience.
Study Pathways
With the suite including a Graduate Certificate (40 units), Graduate Diploma (80 units), and Masters (120 units), you can choose to complete the number of units that suit you and your organisational needs.
