Structure

The Graduate Certificate in Marketing requires students to complete 40 units of study, gained through the completion of the three core courses worth 10 units each and one course worth 10 units from the list of directed courses.

Entry requirements

  • 3 year Bachelors Degree not in a related field
  • or 3 year Diploma in a related field such as accounting, business, commerce, communication, economics, finance, human resource management, industrial relations, management, or marketing
  • or 3 year Diploma not in a related field + 1 year relevant organisational experience
  • or 2 year Diploma in a related field such as accounting, business, commerce, communication, economics, finance, human resource management, industrial relations, management, or marketing
  • + 2 years relevant organisational experience
  • or 2 year Diploma not in a related field + 3 years relevant organisational experience
  • or At least 5 years relevant organisational experience.

Study Pathways

Graduates meet the academic requirements for admission into a Master program offered by the University of Newcastle Faculty of Business and Law and may be eligible for credit transfer.
