Entry requirements

  • Rule A: You have completed a three or four-year pre-service teaching qualification (AQF Level 7 or overseas equivalent) from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Rule B: You have completed a Bachelor qualification (AQF Level 7) and a one or two-year pre-service teaching qualification (AQF Level 8 or 9) (or overseas equivalents) from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Rule C: You have completed a three-year qualification (AQF Level 7 or overseas equivalent) from a university approved by the School of Education.
  • Rule D: You meet ONE of the following entry requirements:
  • You have completed a relevant qualification of at least Diploma level (AQF Level 5) and you have completed a minimum of five years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) relevant work experience or
  • you have completed a non-relevant qualification of at least Diploma level (AQF Level 5) and you have completed a minimum of seven years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) relevant work experience
