There are many reasons we encourage graduates to apply for an honours year. You might want to build a necessary foundation for postgraduate research. You could be seeking answers to international development questions no one else has asked. Perhaps youre pursuing advanced communication skills and subject knowledge to gain a competitive edge in the job market. Entry into honours is selective and competitive. Our prerequisite is at least a distinction average in the Bachelor of International Development or your major in International Development. Applications are called for by departments/disciplines in October and November each year.
