The Master of Applied Financial Technology and Blockchain is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for a career in applied finance, the financial services industry, and any commercial organisation embracing transformative digital technologies. The course provides an opportunity for a national or international career with organisations embedded in the digital economy. The course aims to provide theoretical, factual and experiential knowledge in the core fields of blockchain, data analytics, cryptography, cybersecurity and digital technologies. The course is business-oriented, emphasising the application of digital technologies in a commercial context. A capstone experience completes the course, or instead, acquired skills in research methods can be used to examine a relevant area of personal or professional interest.
