This program is designed for students wishing in pursue business careers in an international context. Student will gain an understanding of key areas of business including economics, accounting, business communication, management and marketing.

Structure
The 1st year of this course is equivalent to the Diploma of Business program. Students may choose between International Business major and Accounting major in the 2nd year.

Entry requirements
- Current school leavers: have completed the equivalent of the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) examination in Australia or New Zealand, achieving a level equivalent to an indicative ATAR score of 50. Non-school leavers: completion of the HSC (or equivalent) with a minimum ATAR of 50 (or equivalent) within 2 years prior to application
- completion of a tertiary preparation course from a qualified provider
- or completion of at least one semester of full-time study (or part-time equivalent) at a registered Australian higher education provider at AQF Level 5 (Diploma) or higher
Recognition
This course has been accredited by the Certified Practicing Accountants in Australia (CPA Australia) and the Institute of Charted Accountants in Australia (ICAA). Graduates of the Accounting major are eligible to apply for Associate Membership of the Certified Practicing Accountants in Australia. Students will also meet the academic requirements for entry to the CA program.
Study Pathways
Students who have completed the first year of this course may exit from the program with the award of Diploma of Business. Students who have completed the first 2 years of this course may exit from the program with the award of Associate Degree of Business. TOP's Diploma of Business can equal to a maximum of 48 credit points towards the University of Wollongong's Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business degrees, if marks achieved in TOP's Diploma meet a GPA of 2.4 or a 60% average.
