Gain an advanced understanding of the key issues in world politics, international security, foreign affairs and international and regional governance. The Master of International Relations (MIR) is a coursework program aimed at developing conceptual and empirical understanding and skill-sets in research and knowledge in international relations (IR). Youll work with world-class teachers and researchers who are in touch with industry partners and participate in regular public commentary and debate in their fields.   • 2-year degree: A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, or To have successfully completed 3 years of study towards an approved qualification at an overseas partner institution that has a formal pathway to the Master of International Relations (32 units). 1.5-year degree: A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or A Graduate Certificate in International Relations (or equivalent) from this university, or A Graduate Certificate in International Studies (or equivalent) from this university, or A Graduate Diploma in International Studies (or equivalent) from this university, or A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, plus 3 years full-time equivalent, relevant work experience with documented evidence (such as references).
