Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours)

The Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) is a 1-year program where you will learn how to plan and conduct a research project with a resultant manuscript written for publication in a journal. You will have an opportunity to make a significant contribution to public health research and establish your skills as a researcher, as well as enhance your professional reputation. Through your research, you will push the boundaries of the discipline and develop your independence, self-reliance and skills in critical and analytical thinking, writing and problem-solving. You will work closely with internationally respected researchers and academics and learn how to identify, analyze and synthesise relevant scientific literature, along with gaining an understanding of the variety of research methods used in health research. You will graduate with a respected honours qualification, with developed knowledge and skills that will set you apart in the jobs market, prove your leadership material, and provide a pathway to future research or learning.
