The International Security Studies program provides specialist training in the international, internal, and transnational security challenges currently facing the Asia Pacific region. As an Honours student you will have access to the wealth of expertise in international security studies across the ANU and to the great holdings of the University and the National libraries. You will have expert supervisory guidance and research training in the College of Asia and the Pacific. With a Bachelor of International Security Studies (Honours) degree, you will acquire in depth contextual knowledge and develop the research skills you need to move on to a higher research degree and/or professional employment.

Structure
The Bachelor of International Security Studies (Honours) requires the completion of 48 units, which must consist of:; 48 units from the completion of the Security Studies Honours Specialization.

Entry requirements
- A Bachelor of International Security Studies degree or equivalent, completed within the last two years:
- with a weighted average mark equivalent to an ANU 70 per cent in relevant courses in their Bachelor Pass Degree (i.e., courses that are relevant to their proposed honours thesis), excluding 1000 level courses (i.e. introductory undergraduate courses).
- with a major or equivalent in a cognate discipline.
- with the written approval of an identified supervisor and the CAP Honours Program Convenor for the thesis.
