Master of Ministry
The SMBC Master of Ministry (MMin) is designed to prepare you for full-time vocational ministry. At AQF level 9, it’s ideal for those who already have a non-theological undergraduate degree. It can be studied full-time or part-time. The Master of Ministry will give you comprehensive biblical foundations (Old Testament and New Testament) along with deeper study of theology, ethics, church history, missions, preaching and pastoral care. It has an emphasis on practical ministry and mission electives that allow you to specialise and integrate your studies with the contemporary world. This course does not require study of biblical languages. Studying the Master of Ministry full-time will also provide you the opportunity to concurrently do the SMBC Certificate in Bible and Mission (CBM). The CBM gives you access to all the benefits of SMBC’s expertise in spiritual formation, cross-cultural mission and pastoral ministry. It includes some extra classes, community activities, conferences and College Mission.

Entry requirements
- Completed three year non-theological bachelor degree or equivalent.
- Language Qualifications for NESB (Non-English Speaking Background): IELTS 7.0 overall with a minimum of 7.0 in reading and writing, and 6.5 in listening and speaking OR 10 years in Australia with English being the language primarily spoken both at home and work.
