Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Biomedical Systems and Technology

My work integrated learning experience was a game changer. I joined the QUT's Biomechanics and Spine Research Group, which has a collaborative industry project with Sealy Australia diving into spinal alignment and sleep quality. It opened my eyes to how all the different components of a research project builds a bigger picture, from 3D scanning to wearable devices collecting data in home mattress trials, and machine learning using all the data collected. It was fascinating to see how all these moving parts come together to tell the story of how we sleep.
