Graduate Certificate in Applied Buddhist Studies
The Graduate Certificate in Applied Buddhist Studies is a six-month full-time program that offers a range of graduate-level seminars covering a broad range of areas of the history, philosophy and contemporary aspects of Buddhism. The course offers a comprehensive account of the origins and influences of Buddhism. The theory of Buddhism and other religious systems is integrated with experiential learning so that the students gain personal experience of spiritual life by practising and applying Buddhist philosophy as a source of spiritual self-reliance. The course structure is designed to lay the basic foundations for further study and allows students to progress to the Graduate Diploma and work towards a Masters qualification
