Translation and Technology (Short course)

This short course focuses on the use of computer assisted translation (CAT). It is primarily intended for translators who have little or no experience with CAT (but do have general computer literacy). The course will provide an overview of the CAT tools: Wordfast Anywhere, SDL Trados 2014; Translation memory: creating a translation memory, working with one; Multiterm: creating a glossary. Participants will learn about these tools and their practical application to translating work.
