Monash Access Program

If you are motivated to learn and want to study at university, but dont meet the standard admission requirements, the Monash Access Program (MAP) may provide you with the skills and knowledge to gain access. MAP is an enabling course for mature age students who have not studied at university before. Applicants need to be aged 21 years or older and priority will be given to students who have experienced financial or other disadvantage. MAP prepares you for successful academic study at university level. It will give you a solid foundation to progress into a range of Monash courses.

Entry requirements

  • To be eligible to apply for MAP, you must: be 21 years or older on 1 January of the year you enrol, have not studied at university before, be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold a humanitarian visa and have completed secondary schooling in English.
