The Master of Clinical Simulation qualifies you to apply principles and theories that inform educational practice in a range of clinical simulation and other relevant contexts to undertake professional and highly skilled work and as educators and simulationists in the health professions. The Master of Clinical Simulation qualifies you to apply principles and theories that inform educational practice in a range of clinical simulation and other relevant contexts to undertake professional and highly skilled work and as educators and simulationists in the health professions. This practice based qualification builds on the existing Graduate Certificate of Clinical Simulation. It is suitable for a broad range of health professionals and others who are, or will be, engaged in simulation based education. This includes the teaching, assessment, evaluation, curriculum design, scenario design, debriefing, mentoring and supervision of health professionals in a range of clinical and other contexts. The qualification is also suited to health professionals who use simulation for healthcare service quality improvement or systems testing. However, the use of simulation as an educational method is prioritised. You have the option of taking an education practice or a research practice capstone. The research capstone can articulate to a PhD.
