Develop the knowledge and skills needed to work as an occupational therapist. you will learn how to enable people to do the activities (or occupations) they need or want to do in order to live a meaningful life, but have difficulty doing due to illness, injury, marginalisation or exclusion. You will study occupational therapy theory and practice, occupational science, and other sciences such as psychology, sociology and anatomy. A hallmark of this degree is its truly contemporary view of occupational therapy, in keeping with current international trends. Occupational therapy is an exciting profession that opens up numerous opportunities for graduates. Many will work in health and social care settings but an increasing number will create new roles to address some of the major issues impacting Australia and other parts of the world.
