Master of Police Leadership
The role of policing globally is changing rapidly and increasing in complexity. This Master of Police Leadership provides advanced knowledge of the critical issues surrounding police accountability, leadership, evidence-based decision making, policing effectiveness, diverse environments, and organizational transformation in corporate services and specialized policing domains. Graduates of this course may find employment in a range of professional and educational contexts, policing organizations, police leadership and cybercrime organizations that require research skills and critical thinking.

160 Credit Points; 80 credit points of core units; 30 credit points of specialization; 10 credit points of capstone project; 40 credit points of electives
Entry requirements
- Domestic: Completion of an AQF Level 7 or above higher education qualification (or equivalent) in any discipline and at least two years relevant policing experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- International: Completion of an AQF Level 7 or above higher education qualification (or equivalent) in any discipline and at least two years relevant policing experience in a managerial or leadership role. International student applicants whose entry qualifications were obtained in an institution where English is not the language of instruction normally require an International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) of 6.5, with a score of not less than 6.0 in any of the four skill areas, or equivalent.
