Structure
Students complete thirteen core (compulsory) topics.; a thesis.; and a minor chosen from three available. These aim to enable students to apply relevant scientific, mathematical and engineering principles to creating solutions to complex electrical and electronic engineering problems.
Entry requirements
- Applicants must normally hold a relevant bachelor degree or equivalent in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Bachelor of Engineering Scienceor a Graduate Diploma in Engineering Science (Electrical and Electronic Engineering)or equivalent progress in the Master of Engineering Science (Electrical and Electronic). Applicants without such a qualification should apply for the Master of Engineering Science (Electrical and Electronic) (2CM239). Due to limited Commonwealth supported places available, selection is based on academic merit.
Recognition
This degree is designed to be accredited by Engineers Australia at the level of professional engineer.
