Graduate Diploma in International Relations
The Graduate Diploma in International Relations provides a basic foundation in the key theoretical, conceptual, and thematic issues in International Relations. The course articulates with the 18 unit Graduate Certificate in International Relations and the 72 unit Master International Relations, and the sequentially developed topics enable progression through the three awards.

Structure
To qualify for the Graduate Diploma in International Relations, a student must complete 36 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.
Entry requirements
- Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
- Students who have completed a Graduate Certificate in International Relations, or an approved equivalent, but not an undergraduate degree, must also meet a GPA requirement.
- However, the Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
