Bachelor of Education (Secondary Health and Physical Education)

The Bachelor of Education (Secondary Health and Physical Education) is an initial teacher education degree that prepares students to teach in Middle and Senior Secondary School settings. Students will develop in-depth curriculum and pedagogy knowledge in the Health and Physical Education and one other teaching specialist area aligned with state and national curriculum frameworks. The course provides a balance of education learning theory with specialised content knowledge in one Major Teaching area and two Minor Teaching areas which will provide graduates with ability to teach one area to senior years schooling and two teaching areas to middle years schooling.
