The unit provides credit towards a number of Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications in the RII Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package and other training packages, such as RII50520 Diploma of Civil Construction Design or equivalent.Entry RequirementThis skill set may only be undertaken in addition to:completion of the RIISS00063 Traffic Management Designer Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads; andat least six months experience applying skills and knowledge relevant to the above mentioned skill set in a temporary traffic management workplace; andproviding evidence of relevant experience preparing at least 4 different traffic management plan design types (being both approved by a client and successfully used in practice) including pedestrian and cyclist controls,lane closures, and at least one of the following design types:construction sitesshoulder closureshigh speed roadsusing portable traffic control devicesroundaboutspublic transport interfacesmotorways or freeways.
