With direct input from stakeholders, including practitioners, academics and policy makers, the UGC offers a transition to Higher Education learning and skill development, prior to committing to a longer degree program.

Structure
The Undergraduate Certificate of Community Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, includes 4 units. This course is offered as a full time course over one semester or part time over two semesters. Students must successfully complete all four units to be awarded the qualification.

Entry requirements
- Submit a current resume
- Submit your highest level of academic qualification, such as Diploma, Year 12 Certificate or related industry Certificate IV qualification, and any other relevant qualifications
- Attend an intake interview with the course coordinator
- Complete an intake written assessment task
- There is no ATAR requirement for this course
