To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 64 points.

Entry requirements
- Applicants are required to have a bachelor degree, OR a diploma and work experience relevant to the course, or equivalent.
- Applicants who wish to pursue the teaching stream, are also required to have completed a four year teaching qualification in primary, secondary or K-12 teaching.
- Within the last 10 years, applicants must have completed a secondary or tertiary mathematics discipline subject that includes calculus (for example, HSC Mathematics Advanced, VCE Mathematical Methods or MTH400 Introductory Mathematics). HSC Mathematics Standard or equivalent is not sufficient. Applicants not meeting this requirement may be admitted provided they enrol in MTH400 Introductory Mathematics as their first subject in the degree.

Charles Sturt University frequently recognises prior learning. To apply for credit, supporting evidence such as transcripts and subject descriptors will need to be included with the application. Each request is individually assessed and the University will advise of the credit application outcome in writing.
