Entry requirements

Applicants must be serving police officers in a police service, or active as a member in a law enforcement organisation carrying out investigations and launching prosecutions on behalf of the public, with a minimum of one year experience demonstrated by a detailed resume.

NSW Police Service (the course has been developed in close conjunction with the NSW Police Service and is designed to meet the career needs of servicing police officers from all jurisdictions and from other agencies with a policing focus).

Study Pathways

Charles Sturt University frequently recognises prior learning including study at other institutions in many of its degrees. Each request for credit is individually assessed prior to the commencement of the course. Officers are recognised with a minimum 80 credit points for policing experience, or a maximum 128 credit points if articulating from the Diploma of Applied Policing, Diploma of Policing and Associate Degree in Policing Practice.
