Structure

For each 8-point subject you are enrolled in, you should expect to spend 10 to 12 hours per week working on assignments and assigned readings, tutorial assistance, individual or group research/study, forum activity, workplace learning, and attending lectures, residential schools, or examinations.

Entry requirements

  • A degree from an Australian or approved overseas university in arts or social science disciplines with a demonstrated distinction average or higher Grade Point Average (GPA). Applicants without a distinction average require a statement and other evidence will be taken into consideration.
  • Applicants are asked to provide a statement of interest (1-2 pages) to demonstrate the relevance of undertaking the course to their profession/future goals.
  • An additional statement of equivalence will be required for students who have graduated from non-social science disciplines wishing to undertake interdisciplinary research.
