Graduate Certificate in Trauma Counselling

Our Graduate Certificate in Trauma Counselling is specialised training designed to build the current practice of healthcare professionals as they support people and communities impacted by trauma. This course is for accredited counsellors, registered psychologists and health care professionals with previous qualifications and experience. The course material includes the development and implementation of trauma-informed care and counselling and addresses specific areas of trauma and current best practice responses to childhood and lifespan trauma, domestic and family violence, human trafficking, and natural disaster recovery.   • This course of study requires the completion of a higher education qualification by an authorised institution. Applicants with recent high school education only are not eligible for direct entry into this course.
