This is a qualification for access consultants who are self-directed and have substantial depth of knowledge and skills to provide expert advice in the provision of access consulting services. Access consultants interpret and apply the requirements of relevant legislation, codes and standards, including building control and anti-discrimination legislation and the National Construction Code (NCC), to ensure compliance of provisions for access for people with disability.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
